Magnaura House Hotel Rooms

Clean room, comfortable beds, big wardrobes, spacious bathroom. Rooms are cleaned on a daily basis. The view from the rooftop is simply amazing. The breakfast is good. Excellent location, close to everything: mini markets (open 24/7), good restaurants, tourist attractions, landmarks, tram station, a bazaar, coffee shops. The staff, particularly the front desk staff, are very kind and attentive. Just being a bit picky, because we like more luminous rooms: we booked a room with city view, we got a bigger room with a garden view. The garden was not too bad (though unkept, could be deemed romantic). Cats kept visiting it (the best part of said garden). The only downside was that the garden was surrounded by tall walls and therefore the room was quite dark. We got breakfast on the house. All in all it is a very good hotel. We recommend it.

Location is perfect. Staff is very friendly. the room quite big with a balcony and very nice view. i would visit that hotel again.

Prime location, close to most historical sights, museums, and public transportation. Friendly and helpful staff, especially Necati, who guided us to an authentic Turkish restaurant for almost half the price you normally pay in tourist areas. I will definitely choose this hotel for my next trip to Istanbul and recommend it to my friends.

Our room had a water view, very close to restaurants, rooftop bars and a small supermarket, walking distance to major attractions, city center and grand bazaar. Clean and updated bathrooms.

Our rooms on the fourth floor had amazing views of the Sea of Marmara and it was delightful to wake up in the morning to see a beautiful sunrise. Spacious room with a large bathroom. Helpful pleasant staff.

My husband and I live in Los Angeles and have been coming here for three years in a row — every time it feels like coming home. The hotel is cozy, full of character, and perfectly located for exploring Istanbul’s historic center — everything is just a short walk away. There is also an elevator, which is very convenient when you have luggage or after a long day of sightseeing. I highly recommend booking a room with a balcony and sea view — waking up to that view is unforgettable. Room 301 is my absolute favorite! I want to give special thanks to Cesar at the reception — he is always friendly, attentive, and ready to help. But honestly, the entire front desk team is amazing — I have never met a friendlier and more understanding group anywhere in the world (and I travel a lot, so I have plenty to compare with!). You can book any tour directly at the hotel, get great advice, and they will help you with absolutely anything. For example, I urgently needed dry cleaning before an early flight the next morning, and they arranged everything quickly and at a very reasonable price. The breakfast is delicious, the rooms are clean and comfortable, and everything is designed to make your stay relaxing. Next year we will definitely return to Magnuara!

Very helpful and supportive staff, we really enjoyed our stay here. It's located in the center of city and few minutes walk from Blue Mosque. The breakfast was really good and we loved it. The bed was comfortable and the room nice just as shown in the pictures.

Cleanness; warm staff, location

The staff were very friendly and helpful and were able to provide good information. The room was very clean and quiet. Breakfast had lots of varieties of food. The location was excellent with an easy walk to many of the main sites like Hagia Sophia, the Grand Bazaar etc. The street outside the hotel was full of restaurants and bars with unlimited choices of places to eat.

The location was very convenient for touring the main attractions of Istanbul including Hagia Sofia, Blue Mosque, and Topkapi Palace. The staff were very accommodating, especially Abdul. The breakfast was delicious and kitchen staff were helpful and friendly. The rooms were adequate size and clean. Our family of 4 occupied adjoining rooms and really enjoyed our time living in Magnaura House while being tourists in Istanbul. This hotel is highly recommended for sightseeing in Istanbul.

Very central location, right near all the mosques and attractions. Staff are very friendly and we were given a really nice room with a great view. Tons of places to eat at nearby. Selim was a great host at the hotel. The rooms were cleaned very nicely every day which was very much appreciated.

Everything about the Magnaura hotel was fantastic, the room was immaculate, the staff were friendly and helpful, it was 5 minutes walk from many of the best tourist sites, and the breakfast was amazing

We used the hotel for a school group visit. The staff couldn’t do enough to help us Cihan the manager helped us organise a coach for a days out to Canilica and Eyüp. Breakfast cooked by Ablas was fantastic. They tried to vary the breakfast. Every morning was delicious. The hotel was warm. Showers were really powerful. The power Ayub came to say goodbye when we left. The children treated the hotel staff to a show of singing and dance. The location was so convenient. Basically we could walk everywhere. The shop next door sold most things that we needed and was a valuable asset to the school group. A local bakery was frequented every morning to pick up fresh bread. I have thought long and hard about what they could do to improve. I suggested they expand and they told me they were opening the Esve hotel. Fab people with a family touch. I have stayed a couple of times more. Keep up the great work Cihan and team.

Excellent location …a huge factor in choice. Close to major attractions and public transport. Many restaurants, a food market, boutique stores within walking minutes. Lively and fun area. Loved my room: spacious, wonderful views of the Bosporus Straight, lots of light. Plenty of choices for breakfast which was served in an attractive space.

Amazing staff and perfect location!!! You're basically steps from the Hagia Sophia and Blue Mosque and Sultanahmet station for easy access to other parts of the city. The staff were so kind, Thank you, Selim, Jihan, and the lovely ladies for making the best breakfast every morning. Made my stay in Istanbul so comfortable. Thank you again ?
